I love the way the countryside looks like a rag quilt with the hedge rows as the seams...such a peaceful vista.

ReplyDeleteWe were standing in the pasture while I was painting. When we packed up the shepherd asked if we would walk out behind his sheep. He was having trouble moving them to the next pasture. They are afraid of everything so it was easy enough to get them to move in the right direction. The shepherd was a man of few words, no conversation. He was busy with chores.
