We drove to Loch Ness today. It's only 35 miles from our cottage but the curvy, narrow roads ensured a journey of one hour. Even though the rest of Scotland was sunny and clear Loch Ness was misty, cloudy and very windy. Very atmospheric. I thought it was cool. Did not see Nessie. Did see Nessieland. Very Wisconsin Dells-like. If you like that sort of thing.
